In a ceremony that will mark an important point in the history of Waldorf College, Dr. Robert A. Alsop will be inaugurated as the 16th president on Friday, April 27. The event will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the John K. and Luise V. Hanson Fieldhouse, followed by a reception at the YMCA in Forest City.
Waldorf College creative writing professor Joe Wilkins will be reading and signing copies of his new prose collection, The Mountain and The Fathers, at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, in the Salveson Ballroom.

Four political experts will discuss and debate Iowa’s primary position in the presidential election at the 2012 History and Political Symposium on Thursday, March 29, at Waldorf College. First in the Nation: Should Iowa Retain its Primary Position?, will feature the views of scholars, the media and the Iowa Secretary of State.
Waldorf College will join the American Red Cross in recognizing March as Red Cross Month and host its second annual blood drive on Tuesday, March 27.
