Waldorf volleyball program to host summer camp

Waldorf College
FOREST CITY, IOWA | The Waldorf College volleyball program will be holding three skills camps this summer for elementary, middle school, and high school level athletes. The camps will be planned and led by Waldorf College Volleyball Head Coach Paul Meyer and Assistant Coaches Mandy Strom and Katie Rueffer.
The Waldorf College volleyball program, which has set school records for the number of wins in a season the past two years, offers this camp to young athletes who want to work on fundamentals and hone their skills. “We cover a lot of basic skills, as well as team concepts, with the younger ages,” Coach Meyer said. “With high school players, who are at a higher level, we concentrate on more advanced skills.”
Elementary and middle school skills camp will be held July 14-16 from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Hanson Fieldhouse on Waldorf campus. Participants who are in the 6th grade have the choice to attend either camp. High school camp will take place July 28-30 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. with a lunch break at noon.
Registration forms and additional camp information can be found here, or by contacting Coach Meyer at (641) 585-8230. Registration is open until each camp begins.
