The community is invited to attend a special dinner theatre production at Waldorf College on Thursday, July 18 and Friday, July 19 to benefit the Waldorf College Theatre Company, a traveling troupe of students that performs throughout the Midwest each summer.


The Alpha Chi National College Honor Society named Waldorf College junior Lauren Camp as the first alternate of the Alfred H. Nolle Scholarship for 2013-14. Camp, from Savoy, Texas, was one of 71 students nominated for the Nolle Scholarship, which is awarded to 10 students for their senior year of undergraduate study.


Kayla Cory from Windsor Heights, Iowa, has won a full-tuition Hero Behind the Hero scholarship from Waldorf College.


Waldorf College’s bachelor of science in fire science administration has been named a Fire and Emergency Services Higher Education (FESHE)-recognized program.


Over the past three semesters, Waldorf College’s director of intramurals and recreation Brett Geelan has collected almost 2,500 pairs of shoes for donation to Soles4Souls.


This summer, the Luise V. Hanson Library and the communications department at Waldorf College are teaming up to share their love of books with a new review program called Summer Book Picks.


Waldorf College has announced its dean’s list for the spring 2013 semester. To receive the honor, students must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale and complete a minimum of 12 credits during the semester.
