After graduating from the University of Georgia with a B.F.A. in Art/Art Education, Gina began teaching at the high school and elementary levels. She loved high school for the incorporation of art history and theory into the art-making practice. Currently teaching art at the middle school level has placed emphasis on the interdisciplinary connections art makes as a visual form of expression and communication. As an art teacher, she strives to engage her students in these artistic practices to help them understand and appreciate her passion.
Gina received my M.Ed. in Art Education to further my research and passion. She gained even more insight in educational practices, artistic methods and concepts, and history.
