Waldorf College cheerleaders selected for national competition

The Waldorf College Cheer Squad has been selected to compete in the prestigious Cheer Ltd. national cheerleading competition in Myrtle Beach, S.C., March 18-22. The squad will compete against approximately 40 other teams who qualified by submitting videos of their routines. It will be the first time the Waldorf cheerleaders have competed in this event.

Kelly to leave Waldorf, search for head wrestling coach begins

Sharing a desire for professional change, Steve Kelly, head coach for the Warrior wrestling team, is leaving Waldorf College to assume head coaching duties for NIACC in Mason City. The new position allows Kelly to combine coaching with pure recruiting duties as he’ll also be a NIACC enrollment specialist.
