English Language Classes
Waldorf College offers English as a Second Language (ESL) as well as 16 majors.
You will take English Language Classes for the first year and will matriculate into your major courses the next four years. You may also take English Language Classes and then return to your home country.
A TOEFL score of 450-500 will be required for you to take ESL courses. You may find a TOEFL testing site at this link www.ets.toefl.org
You can qualify for a $5,000 scholarship per academic year up to four years.

Academic Writing and Grammar
English 100A
· Sentence structure and word usage
· Learn basic academic writing including paragraphs and short essays
· Research writing in the American Education system
Academic Reading and Vocabulary
English 100B
· Vocabulary and reading skills
· Taking notes from written texts and practicing test-taking skills
Academic Listening and Speaking
English 100C
· Oral and intercultural communication
· Learn how to take notes on an academic lecture, ask and respond to questions in classes
· Participate in group work, give oral presentations, and interact with instructors during office hours
