Special Ability Awards in Theatre are renewable for four years to Theatre Majors and Minors as well
as Non-Majors/Minors who commit to participation in Dept. activities and productions.

Reminder: If you have not done so already--

-- Send ACT or SAT results.
-- Complete FAFSA form for Fin. Aid Office.
-- Have Teacher/Director Recommendation Form sent.
-- If required arrange an audition/interview.

Theatre Special Ability Awards are based upon commitment to involvement, as well as
previous experience and talent. Assuming you would receive an award, what is your
commitment for involvement in theatre at Waldorf College?

    THEATRE MAJOR COMMITMENT: Students must maintain satisfactory academic
progress toward completion of theatre B.A. degree; students must participate as cast or crew in
at least three (3) mainstage productions per academic year; students must serve in a Theatre
Department position - averaging four (4) hours a week; students must work all strikes for mainstage
productions; students must attend theatre camp at the beginning of each academic year;
students must audition for every mainstage production, unless their focus is technical theatre.
     
   

MEMBER COMMITMENT: Students must maintain satisfactory academic progress;
students must participate as cast or crew in at least three (3) mainstage productions; students
must serve in a Department of Theatre Staff Position - average of four (4) hours/week outside of
cast/crew work; students must work all strikes for mainstage productions.
