Fabio G. dos Santos was hired in June 2008 as Waldorf's Head Men's & Women's Soccer Coach.

Dos Santos brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience to the Warrior soccer programs.  He played professionally with the Sao Paulo Futebol Club and spent time as a member of the Brazilian National Team.  He has coached both boys’ and girls’ programs at the high school level and most recently served as an assistant men’s and women’s coach at Oakland City University.

“Fabio dos Santos has a diverse soccer background as a professional athlete and as a coach for both men and women at various levels.  He is knowledgeable, eager, and will bring a strong emphasis on academics, values, and team concepts,” said Denny Jerome, Waldorf Athletic Director.

Boyd Longshore

Assistant Coach

Rev. Boyd Longshore joined the Waldorf College soccer coaching staff in early August 2008.  His soccer coaching experience spans some twenty years at the youth premier and below levels, and at the high school level.

He served in Colorado Springs, Colo., as the age group leader coordinating tryouts and team formation for more than 120 boys among seven teams, and as head coach for the U12 boy’s team which won the Colorado State Cup for non-premier youth soccer.   In New Ulm, Minn., as head coach for the classic U15 and U16 age brackets, his teams competed for the Minnesota State Cup in Blaine, Minn.

Coach Longshore was the first head coach for the New Ulm High School boy’s soccer program which finished its inaugural year with a 5-5-3 record.  This first-year team was the Section 2A academic winner among 20 teams.

In addition to his United States Soccer Federation D coaching license, he is a certified referee with experience in adult, college, high school and youth soccer matches.

Rev. Longshore is a pastor in Forest City and Thompson.  He served 22 years on active duty in the U. S. Air Force retiring at the rank of lieutenant colonel.  He and his wife, Mary, live in Forest City and have three grown sons.

Jeremy Wood

Assistant Coach

Jeremy Wood enters his first season as an assistant coach to the Waldorf College men's and women's soccer programs.

Wood played college soccer for two years at the NCAA Division II level with Salem International University (SIU) and two years at the NAIA Division I level with West Virginia University Institute of Technology (WVU Tech). In his college playing career he captained both his SIU and WVU Tech squads, won two WVIAC Conference championships, and received several conference and intra-squad awards.

In addition to his playing experiences, Wood had coached with the West Virginia Chaos soccer club and at the US Naval Academy's Boy's Soccer Camp. He has also worked with various youth soccer clubs in both Maryland and West Virginia.

Wood graduated from WVU Tech in May 2009, with a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management.
