Waldorf College Women's Soccer

2009 Signings
Morgan Raehsler
Morgan Raehsler, Sartell High School in Sartell, Minn., has sighed a letter of intent to continue her education and soccer careers at Waldorf College.

Raehsler was a two-year starter at midfield and defense for the Sabres. In 2007, she helped the Sabres reach the Minnesota Class A State Soccer Tournament quarterfinals.

"I am very pleased with Morgan's decision to attend and play for Waldorf. She will be a major asset to the program with her multi-task mentality and her drive to succeed wherever needed inside the pitch. Morgan is a brilliant young woman and will be able to shine here at Waldorf." said coach dos Santos.

Raehsler plans on majoring in elementary education at Waldorf.
Jacy Fauskee
Jacy Fauskee, from Coon Rapids High School in Coon Rapids, Minn., has signed a letter of intent to continue her successful academic and soccer careers at Waldorf College.

Fauskee, a defender/midfielder with a stellar high school career, was a four-year letter winner and captain at Coon Rapids High School. She comes with high recommendations from several sources and has played at the highest level of club soccer and traveled the nation for tournament play.

"Jacy has her goals set and will do whatever it takes to accomplish them. She is a great person, a driven player, and an excellent student. We are very excited to have Jacy at Waldorf College!" said Head Coach dos Santos. "She will be an impact player through her college career."

Fauskee plans on majoring in English at Waldorf College.
Morgan Aupperle

Morgan Aupperle, from Des Moines, Iowa, has decided to join the Waldorf College women’s soccer program to continue her successful soccer career.

Aupperle, who was also being recruited by other Midwest Collegiate Conference schools decided that Waldorf would "challenge her academically and on the field."

“I know Morgan will come to Waldorf to continue the great work she has been doing at the HS level. She is excited with her decision, as are those players she will be joining!” said coach dos Santos

Morgan plans to major in Wellness.

Caitlyn Capistrant

Caitlyn Capistrant signed her letter of intent to play with the Waldorf College women's soccer team.

Caitlyn played her last season at Spring Lake Park Sr. located just outside the twin cities. She also plays for the Blaine soccer club allowing her to experience an even higher level of soccer.

“Caitlyn is a very good, very energetic player and is able to compete at a high level. She is exactly what we look for; ambitious, ready to start and be successful.” Said coach dos Santos. "I am very happy with Caitlyn’s decision to join the Waldorf soccer program. She is a very smart girl, comes from a great family environment and will be a huge contribution to our program.”

Caitlyn plans to major in Biology while at Waldorf.

Alicia Ahlers

Alicia Ahlers from Romeoville, Ill. signed this past week her letter of intent to play for the Waldorf College women's soccer team.

“Alicia is a great girl! She will bring so much to our program that she will be noticed right away not only for her skills but for the team mentality she has.” said coach dos Santos.

Alicia played for Romeoville HS where she has been a four year starter and a letter winner. She also played for a top club team in the Chicago area.

“Alicia is very happy with her decision and keeps in contact often. Her energy and excitement to arrive at Waldorf and begin training with the rest of the squad is amazing! She was being scouted by other schools in Chicago area but Waldorf was her top choice.”

Alicia is undecided on a major for now.

Jennifer Kensicki

Jennifer Kensicki, a senior at Anchor Bay High School in Michigan, has signed a letter of intent to continue her soccer career at Waldorf College.

Kensicki is a varsity starter on defense for Anchor Bay. She also plays defense for the U18 PSG North Gators FC.

Waldorf's head soccer coach, Fabio dos Santos, expects her to significantly contribute to the team's defensive prowess next year.

“Jennifer is a natural athlete and has a great knowledge of defense and how to maximize her positioning," said dos Santos. "Her strength and powerful attitude will be one of the main characteristics next season.”

Kensicki plans on majoring in psychology.

Teraka Schuller

Coach Fabio dos Santos is proud to announce the signing of Teraka Schuller for the 2009 season.

Teraka, a consecutive member of the Dean's Honor Roll, will be completing her AA in General Science at Western Wyoming Community College.

"I first heard about Teraka from Ben Smith (WWCC Head Coach) and from the moment I heard, I knew she would be a great addition to our program!" said coach dos Santos.

Teraka is originally from Utah where she has always been a 4.0 student. 

"Teraka will not only enrich our soccer program, but she will also strive academically. She is very dedicated, smart and knows her goals!" said coach dos Santos.

Teraka is undecided on her major for now.  

April Meschke

April Meschke from Cannon Valley Lutheran High School, from Morristown, Minn., signed her letter of intent to continue her studies and soccer career at Waldorf College.

“April is an awesome young lady, with a lot of motivation and desire to succeed both academically and in the pitch! April became interested in Waldorf after she saw us at a College Fair, and from that moment on we began talking and working out the necessary details to have her here!” said coach dos Santos

April is an stellar student and she will bring a lot to our Waldorf community. She has been a high GPA student throughout her High School career and she will maintain that same standard here assisting the women’s program in maintaining their NAIA Scholastic Award and in the field.

“Meschke will be part of a great recruiting class and together with my returning athletes, it will bring attention to the program within the conference” said coach dos Santos.

April is undecided at the moment on her major.

Molly O'Brien

Molly O’Brien from Eaglecrest High School in Aurora, Colo., signed her letter of intent to continue her academic and soccer career at Waldorf College.

“Molly is a great addition to our program, she has high school and club experience and will be able to add a lot of depth to our program. She has been trained at the Rocky Mountain Soccer Academy by Manny Pereira for over six years, where they encourage the Brazilian style of soccer, which is the one we teach and train here at Waldorf.” Said coach dos Santos

O’Brien has received her varsity letter three years in a row in soccer and two years in cross country where she reached the state qualifier in her junior year. She also comes with a multi state soccer experience. RMSA participated in several tournaments across the United States, allowing the athletes to experience the different styles of soccer.

“My athletes and I are very happy with Molly’s decision to join Waldorf! She is coming at a great time, and will be able to have an experience of a lifetime here. Molly is a great athlete and I know with the new and returning athletes, she will add to a much stronger and successful team! She will write her name in history here at Waldorf!” said coach dos Santos

O’Brien plans to major in Business Administration at Waldorf.

Olivia Larson

Olivia Larson signed her letter of intent to continue her studies and soccer career at Waldorf College beginning this fall. Larson, from Steilacoom Senior High School in Steilacoom, Wash., has been an active participant in club soccer tournaments across Washington State and Oregon, giving her the experience and skills to be successful inside the field.

“Olivia is a great addition to our women’s soccer program! She is passionate and dedicated to soccer and will bring great skills and a positive mentality to the program.” Said head coach dos Santos.

Olivia is a great student, actively participating in her school musical department and being the official National Anthem singer at her school events. Olivia not only has dedication to succeed on the field, but also brings that dedication to the classroom as she has achieved great accomplishments in academics.

“From the moment I started conversations with Olivia and her family, I knew she would be a great fit to the Waldorf family! And when she visited and met the team, it was an easy decision for her. We are very glad with her decision to play soccer for us!” said coach dos Santos.

Olivia is undecided on her major at the present time.

Makenzie Bemis

Makenzie Bemis, Tempe, Ariz., decided to continue her academic and soccer careers at Waldorf College last week, after meeting the women's squad and coach dos Santos.

“Makenzie is a great girl. Her charisma and desire to play collegiate soccer is incredible and I know that she will bring strength and power to the Warrior midfield.” said coach dos Santos.

Bemis comes from a very sport oriented family. Her father, Scott Bemis, not only led the Notre Dame Prep. High School women's soccer team to the state title, but, being the head football coach, he led the football team to a state title as well.

“Notre Dame Prep is an excellent school with an excellent women’s soccer program. Makenzie is the first recruit from there and I know we will create a great partnership for the future. Makenzie is a very athletic, skilled, and determined soccer player. She is a great addition to Waldorf College.” Said coach dos Santos

Makenzie plans to major in Business Administration while attending Waldorf.

Adrianna Ferrari  

Adrianna Ferrari signed her letter of intent to continue her education and soccer career at Waldorf College.

"Adrianna will be a great addition to our program. She and her teammate Makenzie Bemis were able to conquer the state title in a very exciting match this fall" said Head Coach dos Santos.

Ferrari is no stranger to state title games as she had two appearances throughout her high school career; One with Notre Dame Prep Academy and the other with Pinnacle High School. Ferrari was named Black Cannon Player of the Year and First Team 4 A-II All State by the Arizona Republic, Second Team All State by the East Valley Tribune, and Scottsdale Republic Player of the Year.

"Adrianna is a well rounded young lady that is very passionate about soccer. She has vast experience in various levels of club soccer, and I know she will succeed at Waldorf College" said Coach dos Santos.

Adrianna plans to major in Education while attending Waldorf College.
