After a much needed day of rest, the Waldorf College softball team thought they would be getting back to action on Thursday. After defeating Mount Mercy College once earlier in the Midwest Collegiate Conference Tournament, the Waldorf College softball team defeated the Mustangs once again on Friday afternoon in Coralville, as they took the 6-4, 10 inning victory in the championship game.
