• Select an Advisor

• Confer w/ Advisor to identify a specific topic

• Choose a grant:

1. Alpha Chi has two grants at $250 each

Given to any research topic and one grant is open to sophomores

2. Biology-related proposals are awarded two grants at $500 each

Given to juniors and seniors whose proposals are related to an environmental theme

Examples:
Use of the environment in American theater, literature, music, etc.
Role of journalism in public reaction to Hurricane Katrina.
Do Americans bear ethical responsibilities for degrading the quality of American's natural resources?
