Curriculum & Faculty

The honors curriculum stresses critical and creative thinking, leadership, and service. The curriculum is comprised of 17 credits. Most of these credits, such as Honors English, and Honors Religion satisfy the College’s core requirements. Juniors and seniors take a series of one-credit “colloquia” that are centered on the themes of leadership, vocation, and service. Honors students also spend one or two semesters developing a research paper with a faculty member of their choosing. They present the findings of their research at Inquirere, the college’s undergraduate academic conference. Most honors students elect to study abroad in Greece during the May term of their junior or senior year.
