Norwegian

The two courses available in Norwegian are designed to develop an appreciation for the rich cultural heritage of the Scandinavian community and provide "survival skills" in the language.

COURSE DESCRIPTIONS:

NOR 101 Norwegian Language and Culture (4 cr.)
A course designed to introduce the student to a basic conversational vocabulary and to aspects of Norwegian culture. For persons with little or no knowledge of the language. (On demand)

NOR 102 Norwegian Language and Culture (4 cr.)
A course designed to increase the conversational vocabulary and ability of the student, with continued attention to Norwegian culture. Presupposes first semester course or some prior knowledge of the language. (On demand)

NOR 293-294 Directed Study
NOR 295-299 Internship
