Education Department

The mission of the Waldorf College Education Department is "Preparing teachers to serve a community of learners." Through Waldorf's Teacher Preparation Program, students experience exemplary learning opportunities both on campus and in the area K-12 school districts. Additionally, Waldorf Teacher Education students learn to assume roles as leaders, advocates, change agents and servants within the professional setting and the community.

EducationTo receive a BS, eight semesters of study need to be completed. Waldorf's teacher Education program offers the following endorsement areas:  

     Elementary Education (K-6)
     Elementary Education endorsement
     K-6 Reading endorsement
     K-6 Special Education endorsement
     K-6 Music endorsement
     K-6 Mathematics endorsement
     K-6 Art endorsement
     K-6 Science concentration
     K-6 Spanish concentration
     K-6 Theatre concentration
     Secondary Education (7-12)
     7-12 Reading endorsement
     7-12 Special Education endorsement
     7-12 History endorsement
     7-12 English endorsement
