Chemistry Department
Students who take chemistry at Waldorf learn about the world around them. Our goals are to ask questions about the physical world and to learn how to find the answers through discussion, research, and experimentation. Discussion involves group efforts; research involves searching for answers on the internet, in data bases, and in other literature; and experimentation involves learning laboratory techniques in chemistry and applying them to real problems.
