Java City in Luise V. Hanson LibraryLuise V. Hanson Library & Java City
Forest City might not have a Barnes & Noble but we think the Luise V. Hanson Library is a more than adequate replacement. The $4.5 million library features an impressive collection of books, periodicals and research tools. And the Java City Cafe (located in the library) is the best place in town to sit on a comfy couch, grab a cappuccino and hook up to the library's wireless internet.

With everything from paintings to high fashion, The Gallery in The Atrium features some of the top artists not only from Waldorf but across the world. The 2007-2008 season showcased the artwork of Waldorf students, local artists and printmakers from around the world. The Gallery is free and open to the public.

MLK DayFood Packaging Event on MLK Day
Our unique 50 Days of Service is one of the many ways that we give back to the community. A highlight of our annual 50 Days of Service occurs on MLK Day. The Food Packaging Event for Kids Against Hunger is quite the spectacle. We transform The Atrium into a food-packing factory. In 2008, over 400 volunteers packaged 62,557 meals that were sent to hungry children in Africa.

TheatreTheatre Productions
Shakespeare plays, musicals, comedies, and dramas - we've got them all thanks to our talented Theatre program. In addition to the regular theatre season, there are also many smaller productions throughout the year.

Homecoming Weekend
The busiest weekend on Waldorf's campus is Homecoming. The alumni of Waldorf College come together for a weekend filled with camaraderie and exciting events. Some annual highlights include the football game on Saturday, the 5K race, and the alumni choir sing-a-long. Waldorf is a great place to come home to!
