Greetings from Waldorf College! Thank you for checking us out by viewing our web page. I hope you find the information on Waldorf to be helpful, informative, and maybe even a little inspiring. Waldorf is a place where students find their future by combining a strong liberal arts curriculum with a tangible emphasis on important critical thinking skills. Waldorf's excellent faculty helps students create for themselves a compelling vision of the rest of their lives.
As a college of the Lutheran church, Waldorf College provides a supportive and caring educational environment designed to help students understand the intersection between faith, learning, and service. Students leave Waldorf College with a passion for learning, a commitment to community, a capacity for leadership, and a need to serve.
When you come to Waldorf as a student, there are several advantages you will notice immediately. During your first week as a student, you will receive a laptop computer for your use as long as you are enrolled. The entire campus is networked, making note taking, research, web searches and email available twenty-four hours a day. A Waldorf student is easily recognized by the laptop slung over the shoulder!
The faculty and staff who greet you will make you feel like you have been friends all of your life. You will be treated like you are one of the most important people in the world. That’s the way it should be. You are one of the most important people in the world.
The technology you see at Waldorf will astound you. The television studio, digital radio station, multimedia communications lab and video editing equipment will amaze you. The wellness center and athletic facilities will keep you in shape - or help get you there.
There’s so much more to tell you. But seeing is believing. Please, browse the website. Then come and visit us. I look forward to greeting you.
