Departmental Scholarships

Waldorf offers 50 departmental scholarships for our students! 10 departments each give out five scholarships worth $2,000 each.

To be eligible for a departmental scholarship, a student:

1. Cannot combine departmental scholarships with athletic or fine arts scholarships
2. May only receive one departmental scholarship
3. Must be an incoming freshman
4. Transfer students are not eligible
5. Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA to be considered
6. Must maintain a 3.0 GPA to continue scholarship
7. Must complete an application

Departmental responsibilities:

1. Each department has a maximum of five departmental scholarships.
2. Each department will follow up with additional applications and/or interviews.
3. Each department will share the application between Admissions, Financial Aid and each department.
4. Each department will notify the student, Admissions, and Financial Aid.

Students who have been packaged are not eligible to receive a departmental scholarship. The departmental scholarship must be assigned to the student prior to packaging.
