The Waldorf College Community Artist Series provides outstanding performances to the city of Forest City. Singers, musicians and other performers travel to Forest City from across the nation. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Waldorf College Information Center at 1-800-292-1903 or from the Forest City Chamber of Commerce.
Prices are $10 for adults and $5 for students.

Soprano Rachel Schutz and Pianist Jonathan Korth (a Forest City native!) began collaborating together as students at Stony Brook University in New York. Since their first recital together in 2003, they have given performances around the world, from New York to Hawaii and Germany to Taiwan, captivating audiences with their inventive programming, engaging interaction, and sincere interpretations.
Performing diverse repertoire from standard to contemporary art song, they aim to share their passion for this personal and intense genre with their audiences while creating a memorable and entertaining concert experience.

Valerie William’s Co’Motion Dance Theater was founded in 1978 with a bold mission – to provide high quality professional modern dance performances. Thirty years later that mission remains as active as the company itself. Based out of Ames, Iowa, Co’Motion Dance Theater continues to engage minds and bodies through exposure to authentic movement.

Founded in 1991 by music director Misha Rachlevsky, Chamber Orchestra Kremlin has earned national and international recognition as one of Russia’s leading ensembles. Comprised of some of Russia’s finest young string players, the orchestra travels the world, playing concerts and festivals in its hometown of Moscow, as well as North and South America, Europe and the Far East.
Known for its warmth and high-energy performances, Orchestra Kremlin has recorded an outstanding catalog of more than 30 CDs. This concert is sure to be a truly memorable experience.

Flutists Guðrún Birgisdóttir and Martial Nardeau are renowned for their solo careers, both playing with orchestras throughout Iceland and Europe.
Since 1979, these two artists have also made beautiful music together, with multiple successful recordings and concert tours spanning both America and Europe.
Their musicality and skilled partnership makes for a joyous and unforgettable concert event.
