The Social and Economic Decline of the Rural United States by Matthew Peake
October 21 - December 6, 2013
Artist Reception: Saturday, November 23, 2 - 4 p.m. with artist talk at 3 p.m.

Peake's collection of photographs captures the once-thriving places of rural America. His artist statement explains the inspiration: "Growing up in a small town I always heard of what used to be. 'This used to be a grocery store.' 'This used to be our bank.' 'Oh, you moved into the old Johnson house.' Small town life most often centers around the glory days — the golden years when today's adults were kids. This show is a transport to those magical places once the magic has gone."

Gallery Hours
Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. when classes are in session.
