The Waldorf College Theatre Company class is launching their summer tour locally with Shakespeare’s “The Taming of the Shrew,” May 27-June 10.  The performances are open to the public.  Admission is “pay what you will” with all proceeds to be used for the group’s tour to Alabama and Florida, June 11-16

The Waldorf Wind Symphony will present its home concert entitled, “Festive Overtures,” on Sunday, April 18, 3 p.m., at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 246 South Clark Street in Forest City. The concert is free and open to the public.

Students from the Waldorf piano studios of Dr. Kristín Jónína Taylor and Professor Diane Stadtlander will perform a benefit concert and reception on Wednesday, April 14, at 7:30 p.m., in the Odvin Hagen Recital Hall. The concert and reception are open to the public, with the admission fee of a can of food. Monetary donations will also be accepted. All proceeds and food items will be donated to the Forest City Food Bank.
