Winnebago Industries is seeking a .NET Programmer – Visual Basic
 
Position Description:
As a member of the Software Development team, the candidate will have the opportunity to work with other highly motivated and skilled team members, and work closely with business users in a fast paced environment dedicated to delivering business value and to enhancing our competitive edge.
 
Principal Duties/Responsibilities:
• Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation of in-house , custom applications. Ensure applications, documents and systems are in compliance with established quality standards and meet requirements.
• GUI design and implementation using .Net WinForms.
• Conversion of legacy applications to Visual Studio.
• Work closely with Project Supervisor, other IT staff and users.
 
Skills and Qualifications Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree in a Computer Science, MIS or related technical discipline.
• Experience in Visual Basic using MS Visual Studio.
• Knowledge of object oriented design methodology.
• Experience with SQL databases.
• Ability to perform a variety of complicated tasks.
• Excellent communication skills.
 
Skills and Qualifications Preferred
• Knowledge of XML, CSS, XSD technologies.
• Knowledge of relational databases MS SQL Server, DB2 or similar.
• Knowledge of dBase programming languages.
• Experience in working with Microsoft Office products.
