Software Engineer

TeamQuest Corporation, a global leader in performance management and capacity planning software, is seeking a Software Engineer. We offer a professional and challenging environment with competitive salary and benefits including an Employee Stock Ownership Plan.

The successful candidate will need general knowledge of and experience with the Unix and Windows operating system along with C, C++, and Java programming languages. The candidate should be familiar with software engineering and source control processes. Working in a team setting, the candidate must be able to analyze software requirements; define and design software components; produce well documented, quality code that is easy to use and maintain; and participate in design and code reviews. In addition, it would be a plus if the candidate has experience with J2EE application development, web development, and Oracle or PostgreSQL databases.

Typically a qualified candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or MIS and ten or more years of experience in the software development field. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
