QUALIFICATIONS:  
Minimum of two (2) years radio broadcast experience.
Ability to perform all duties necessary to maintain FCC Licenses.  
Valid drivers license and insurability.
Project an appropriate professional appearance and demeanor. 
Ability to work in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Ability to function in a team environment.
Ability to work established schedule and other hours as needed.

 
DUTIES:  

POSITION SUMMARY:  Work closely with Programming, Promotions, and Sales staffs to coordinate and assess specific needs for remote broadcast events, including setup, operation and maintenance of remote broadcast equipment.



Set-up and provide technical services for remote broadcasts, including monitoring broadcast quality, signal strength, clarity, reliability and level adjustments.
Maintain and repair all remote broadcast equipment.\
Works directly with the program directors, promotions departments and sales departments on their requests for remote broadcasts.
Assess needs for specific requested remote broadcasts, including required phone lines (ISDN, IP, POTS), equipment.
Order needed phone lines for specific broadcasts; test phone lines at remote locations prior to broadcast.
Provide technical services for specific broadcasts.
Keep inventory of remote broadcast equipment and notify engineering of any remote equipment that needs repair.
Cancel all phone lines that are no longer needed.
Technical operations of play-by-play games as needed.
Other duties as assigned.

 
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  
Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
Manual dexterity and fine motor skills to manipulate computer keys and general office equipment (telephone, copier, calculator, etc.) for extended periods of time.
Ability to hear and speak clearly and follow both oral and written direction.
