The Iowa Department of Corrections is currently accepting applications for unpaid internships at all of the correctional facilities and central office. Internships are available in the following areas:
  • Administration – i.e. Business, Accounting, IT
  • Dietary – i.e. Food Service
  • Health Services – i.e. Nursing, Dental, Pharmacy
  • Maintenance/Grounds – i.e. Plumbing, Carpentry, Electrical
  • Counseling/Treatment – i.e. Psychology, Social Work, Human Services
