Job Description: The Fall is approaching and Universal Music Group is looking for interns for a variety of its departments in the Minneapolis, MN area. Interested in the music industry? Want to learn more about the company? Then an internship is a great way to gain exposure.

The internship program is designed to provide interested students with hands-on experience in the entertainment industry. Because today’s students may be tomorrow’s leaders, our desire is to provide these individuals with a meaningful and educational experience.

Internships are unpaid, for college credit only. Students must be enrolled FULL TIME. Full time enrollment is defined as 9 or more credits/units. Interns must also provide a school letter verifying that course credit will be received for the internship. All letters will be verified with schools/universities.

Candidates should possess exceptional computer, written and communication skills. Interns must be available to interview and work in the Nashville, TN area. Students must be enrolled full-time, be eligible to receive school credit from an accredited 2 or 4 year College or University and must be able to provide documentation from their school on or before their start date. If you cannot receive credit and/or are not enrolled as a full-time student (minimum of 9 credits), you will not be considered for an internship.

***OUT OF STATE APPLICANTS: To be considered for a Minneapolis, MN area internship, please indicate on your application when you intend to be in the Mineapolis area to do an internship. Travel and housing are NOT provided by UMG.

• Interest in the music industry
• MS office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook experience preferred
• Quark Express, Photoshop, Illustrator and Final Cut Pro experience preferred for creative departments
