HOURS PER WEEK: 40-45 per week for approximately 17 weeks
WAGE: Stipend in addition to a living stipend of $2900 for 17 weeks.

JOB DESCRIPTION: If you would like to serve children and youth overseas, internships are available working with Primary Child Development Centers on U.S. Military Bases in Germany, Italy, England, Belgium, Alaska, Hawaii and Key West.
The program provides services primarily to toddlers and infants, with some school-age care. Interns are well supervised by both Camp Adventure™ staff and Military CDC staff. This internship provides related experience working with children, while networking with one of the country’s largest employers, the Department of Defense.
Benefits of participation include: • 12 hours of credit from the University of Northern Iowa (graduate or undergraduate) at a reduced rate • Travel expenses and housing are paid • Living stipend of approximately $2900 for 17 weeks • Professional training in the field • Great resume builder
QUALIFICATIONS: Must have completed freshman year of college with a GPA of 2.5 or greater. Must have experience working with children. Our organization requires students to take this internship for credit.
