SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Needs to be an excellent sales person and writer.
• Needs to have good people skills, self motivated, able to keep deadlines.
• Prefer someone who has been to Bash on the Farm and knows Christian music.
• Should have a morally clean My Space account to be communicating to the bands.
• Needs e-mail and a computer or complete access to one with a program that can create a newspaper compatible with Adobe.
• Needs to be accessible by phone and communicating with supervisor on a regular basis.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
*It will be the responsibility of the intern to create the printed event program for Bash on the Farm. The program will be 12 pages long in tabloid format. It consists of ads from sponsors, event information, and band biographies and pictures.
*The intern is responsible for contacting the bands we have booked and/or searching their websites for pictures and biography information; then writing and editing biographies.
*They will also compile event information into the program.
*This position is responsible for the ad sales of the program as well as ad design when necessary.
*This position will create the program in an adobe compatible format ready for the printers.
*Responsibilities include initial and final proofs from the printer and pick up of the final product.
*Additionally, this position will supervise the distribution of the programs to area outlets. There will be a deadline that the program will need to be completed by.

Internship Timeframe: Jan – June but can be flexible.  This is an unpaid internship.
