Internship in Hospitality Management at the Lodge Resort Hotel in Forest City.
10 hours per week arranged by mutual agreement. Student will work with experienced professionals in all aspects of small business operation including marketing, sales, record keeping and facilities management.. Student will learn industry standard software and network booking procedures and experience working with hospitality workers. In addition, student will be expected to prepare an “action research” project relating to the hospitality industry (topic and scope to be approved by Lodge Management and College Supervisor. Student may earn up to 8 internship credit hours over 1 or 2 semesters.
