Transportation and Parking

Campus Parking and Transportation Waldorf College

Parking

Waldorf allows all students to bring a car to campus. We have multiple designated lots for student parking for registered vehicles and provide temporary guest parking passes to visitors.

Transportation Passes
The college recognizes that there is currently not a local bus or taxi service for students that do not have personal vehicles and need travel assistance. Students that need transportation to out of town airports or clinics during the academic year may purchase a Waldorf College Transportation Pass. Transporation passes can be purchased at the Waldorf College Bookstore by cash, check, or credit card.

For air or bus transportation needs, a Ride Request Form must be completed at least 72 hours prior to the date needed. Medical transportation needs can be coordinated through the Student Health Services or Athletic Trainers' offices.

Medical Transportation
All transportation passes cover trips to local medical clinics, athletic training and rehabilitation centers, or emergency care (DOES NOT cover ambulance or air flight transportation). Medical appointments and transportation can be coordinated through Student Health Services (Mary Mathiasen) at 641-585-8157 or mathiasem@waldorf.edu, or by Waldorf College Athletic Trainers at 641-585-8394. This service is provided to Waldorf students ONLY.

Air and Bus Transportation
Other passes cover transportation to travel hubs (airports and bus stations). A Ride Request Form must be filled out for air or bus travel at least 72 hours before student transportation services are needed. Please schedule any arrival or departure times to be between the hours of 10:30 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. (CST) to coordinate with predetermined pick-up and drop-off times.

This service is provided to Waldorf students ONLY. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the schedule ride time may be subject to additional fees or charges. Student Life does not encourage missing classes, please speak with professors to get approval for travel while classes are in session.

After submitting a Ride Request Form, a confirmation email will be received. The form will be reviewed by Coordinator of Student Transportation Anne Marie Werthmann and followed up with an itinerary or if any issues arise. For questions, you can contact Anne Marie at 641-585-8728 during business hours, or campus security at 641-585-8500 during off-hours.
