Get Involved!

With more than 35 clubs and organizations, Waldorf College offers a variety of opportunities for you to get involved. Personalize your college experience by being involved in activities you enjoyed in high school or ones you’ve always wanted to try!

If you don't see an organization that you are passionate about, we encourage you to explore the possibility of creating your own. The Student Life Staff will help guide you through the process of creating an organization.

Creating a Student Organization

How to become a recognized student organization:

1. Complete a Constitution (see example)
2. Contact Student Activities Director or Dean of Students to submit constitution
3. Constitution will be reviewed by Office of Student Life and Student Senate and approved or denied (usually with revisions)
4. Once approved your organization is officially recognized and afforded college organization benefits

Benefits of being a recognized student organization:

• listed on college web page, campus center board, handbook and campus literature
• able to participate in winterfest/warrior cup and win funding
• able to request funding from Student Senate
• able to hold functions on campus and reserve space
• able to have campus emails and marketing sent to campus community
• eligible for end of the year SEAL Awards
• invited to semester roundtable meetings
• invited to college fairs, recruitment fairs in atrium such as Taste of Forest City and Orientation
