Paying for college: In the United States, students and their parents pay for their education. The U.S. government will provide some financial assistance to American citizens, but not for international students. However, scholarships are available for ALL students.
Waldorf Scholarships: Waldorf Merit Scholarships for incoming international students are awarded based on high school GPA and composite ACT score. The following awards are available:
Regents Scholarship, $15,000 Presidential Scholarship, $10,000 Excellence Scholarship, $6,000 Transformational Scholarship, $5,000 Promise Award, $3,000 Belief Award, $1,000
International students may also qualify for athletic and fine arts awards. Student not participating in athletics or fine arts are eligible for a $2,500 Waldorf International Student Grant.
Work on campus: International students who qualify may be able to work on campus. It should be stated that competition exists for all jobs and no student is guaranteed they will find a job. An on-campus job will not provide enough money to pay tuition fees, but will give the student some extra spending money.
