The Exploratory Track requires the completion of 19 additional credits from other disciplines, which must be approved by both the student’s adviser and the Wellness Department Chair. This track is intended to allow students to explore an area of interest or a variety of areas of interest.

The Pre-Professional Track requires the completion of a minimum of 19 additional credits from a particular Pre-Professional program, which must be approved by both the student’s adviser and the Wellness Department Chair. This track allows students to concentrate on those courses necessary to gain admission into a professional school.

Purpose of the Wellness Minor To allow students studying in another major to learn the basics of Wellness and to get a representative sampling of the Wellness field of study.
The following classes are REQUIRED for the Wellness Health Promotion minor:

Students would be required to take an additional two courses from the following classes to complete the Wellness Health Promotion minor: WEL 230, WEL 250, WEL 320*, WEL 350*, WEL 360*, WEL 380*, WEL 390*, WEL 405*, WEL 410, WEL 420 * Prerequisite(s) required
(While it does not count toward the additional two courses necessary for the minor, it is important to note that BIO 155 is a prerequisite for some of the aforementioned courses.)
