The Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice Administration offered at Waldorf College will include the Waldorf general education curriculum, five 3-credit criminal justice courses, and Waldorf sociology and business courses. The program would provide students with the general education, discipline specific, and technical skills required to succeed in the criminal justice workplace. The program is designed to prepare students for employment and to impart an understanding of fundamental criminal justice competencies in a multitude of discipline settings and related environments. The program also prepares students and provides skills necessary to assume greater responsibilities within their organizations and assume duties of organizational middle and upper management positions. It also prepares students to enter a professional position in the business world should they decide to seek a career path outside the criminal justice field.

Given the interdisciplinary nature of our justice system and technical foundations of the program, the 124 credits of the Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice Administration at Waldorf will provide all course work necessary to acquire the personal and professional skills for being successful in local, state, and federal government, and private sector related fields. Fields can include law enforcement, corrections, judicial security, homeland security and healthcare security.
