Inspirational Quote: “If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor. If an elephant has its foot on the tail of a mouse and you say that you are neutral, the mouse will not appreciate your neutrality.” – Desmond Tutu
Favorite Book: Velvet Elvis by Rob Bell
Hobbies/Interests: Mary enjoys being involved in church activities, especially helping with the senior high youth. In her free time she like to read, play games on the computer and catch up on her favorite shows through Hulu.
What does she enjoy most about Waldorf: The fact that a student is a name and a face and not a number. When I was a student, my professors took an interest in my life and my success and I wasn’t simply a number in a large lecture hall. When my assignments were graded, I know that my professors knew exactly who it was writing each paper, and it was easy for them to become involved with our everyday lives.
