The Waldorf College volleyball team defeated the Eagles of Faith Baptist Bible College on Thursday evening in Forest City. The Warriors won in three sets with final scores of 29-27, 25-12, 25-20.
The Waldorf College volleyball team had a rough start to their 2010 season as they dropped a pair of matches in their home triangular. The Warriors were defeated by Valley City State University in five sets, 3-2, and Morningside College in three, 3-0.
The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the All-Scholar teams for 2010. Waldorf College had four teams named to the list including men’s golf, women’s basketball, volleyball, and softball.
Today Waldorf College officials announced that the 2010/2011 school year will begin with a new Women's Wrestling Program. Waldorf will be the first College in the state of Iowa to offer women's wrestling.

Lauren Trembath, a Waldorf College creative writing major from Clear Lake, Iowa, has been selected to attend the 2010 Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference in Middlebury, Vt., August 11-21, 2010. The New Yorker magazine calls the Bread Loaf Writers' Conference, "The oldest and most prestigious writers' conference in the country."
Waldorf College has announced its dean’s list for the 2009-10 spring semester. To receive the honor, students must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale and complete a minimum class load of 12 credits
