Waldorf College music students are dishing up pasta to raise funds for a cause near and dear to their hearts: music education.
Waldorf College welcomes two former Iowa State University professors to the Recital Hall on Monday, April 8, for a special music presentation: “Shouts of Joy! A Presentation of New Hymns.”
The Waldorf Community Artist Series will welcome Chamber Orchestra Kremlin to Forest City on Sunday, March 24, for a 7:30 p.m. performance at Immanuel Lutheran Church.
On February 27 and 28, Waldorf College vocal students will have the opportunity to work with two renowned instructors: Dr. Anton Armstrong, conductor of the St. Olaf Choir at St. Olaf College, and Dr. Jeffrey Madison, a celebrated baritone from the University of Wisconsin – Superior.
The Waldorf College Choir will present its first annual Choral Masterwork Concert on Monday, February 25, at 7:30 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Forest City.
Forest City, Iowa – Waldorf College senior Gabriel Andrew Vasquez will debut his senior art exhibit on Thursday, Feb. 14 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. featuring aerosol art inspired by the righteousness of God. Vasquez, a humanities major and art minor from El Paso, Texas, has been making art for seven years.
Forest City, Iowa – The Tony Award-winning musical “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying” will open on the Smith Theatre stage on Wednesday, Feb. 13, just in time for Valentine’s Day. More than 40 students and faculty worked several weeks to prepare for the musical.
