The community is invited to attend a special dinner theatre production at Waldorf College on Thursday, July 18 and Friday, July 19 to benefit the Waldorf College Theatre Company, a traveling troupe of students that performs throughout the Midwest each summer.
The Waldorf Theatre Company kicks off its summer tour with a presentation of William Shakespeare’s The Tempest at Lund Pond on Waldorf College’s campus on Monday, May 20, at 6:30 p.m.
On Saturday, May 18, Waldorf College’s Theatre Company will host a Trivia Night as a fundraiser for its upcoming summer tour. The ten-round competition starts at 7 p.m. in Waldorf’s Atrium and is open to the community.
This spring, the Waldorf College Choir will travel throughout Florida for its annual choir tour. With almost 30 students performing, the vocal ensemble will present 10 concerts during its 12-day tour.
The Waldorf Community Artist Series will complete its 25th season on Sunday, April 21, with a performance by Icelandic flutists Gudrún Birgisdóttir and Martial Nardeau at Immanuel Lutheran Church at 7:30 p.m.
This spring, the world’s longest-running play will appear at Waldorf College’s Smith Theatre. Agatha Christie’s “The Mousetrap” runs Wednesday, April 10, through Saturday, April 13.
On April 18 at 8 p.m. and April 21 at 2 p.m. in the Box of Black at Waldorf College, three wenches will tell a story that has stood the test of time. "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged” by Adam Long, Daniel Singer, and Jess Winfield condenses the works of the Bard into about 90 minutes.
