Forest City, Iowa – Waldorf College will offer a variety of summer camps for students who want to explore possibilities and sharpen their skills in the areas of fine arts and athletics. Some camps are days only, while others offer overnight accommodations in the Waldorf College residence halls.
A total of 13 camps will be offered this summer. “This will be a great opportunity for a lot of kids to experience life on a real college campus,” said Monica Scarano, continuing education coordinator at Waldorf College. “It will also be nice to have parents on campus.”

Waldorf Choral Experience Camp June 20-23, 2012 Open to all high school students interested in singing great choral music. Repertoire will include music from diverse eras, styles, and cultures. • Cost: $225 (Includes room, meals, t-shirt, instruction, instrument, snacks, evening activities) • Cost for commuter: $200 – does include meals • Register for both the Choral Experience Camp and the Musical Theatre Camp and save $50.

Waldorf Piano Camp June 20-23, 2012 The topics for piano camp specifically are: solo piano, master classes, piano wellness, sight reading, composition and technology, and musicology/music theory. • Cost: $300 (room, meals, t-shirt, instruction, instrument, snacks, evening activities) • Cost for commuter: $250 – does include meals
Waldorf Musical Theatre Camp July 9-13, 2012 Enrollment is open to students entering the 9th grade through those who have just completed their senior year. **If three or more teammates from the same high school attend the Waldorf Cross Country Camp, a $15/runner discount is given.
