Waldorf College to Host Open House on May 14

The event is scheduled 9 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at locations across the campus. Registration is 9 to 9:15 a.m. in the Atrium, located between Salveson and Thorson halls. The monthly Open House events typically draw as many as 40 prospective students from across the country and are the best way for students to experience Waldorf College.

Recent Open House events have attracted prospective students from throughout Iowa and Minnesota, and as far away as California, Texas and Canada.

Students will have the opportunity to tour the campus, speak with professors and learn about Waldorf's variety of degree programs. In addition, prospective students will have the opportunity to meet and question a panel of current Waldorf students. At the same time, parents will meet with faculty and staff members from Student Life.

The following are dates for the next Open House events:

  • June 11, 2011
  • July 16, 2011
  • Aug. 20, 2011

Open houses are not the only way for prospective students to learn about Waldorf College. Admissions officials encourage students and their parents to also schedule individual visits to campus.
