Theater and music students will have the opportunity to experience Waldorf College, a four-year liberal arts school, and to audition for scholarships during the Fine Arts Weekend events at the college during February and March.
Waldorf College, a four-year liberal arts school in Forest City, Iowa, has announced the dean’s list for the 2010-11 fall semester. To receive the honor, students must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale and complete a minimum class load of 12 credits.
Two Waldorf College students have won $500 grants from the Alpha Chi Honor Society chapter for undergraduate research.
The Waldorf College Theatre Department will present the comedy "Kiss Me Kate" by Cole Porter for a four-night run beginning Feb. 16 at the Smith Theatre on the Waldorf campus.
Waldorf College will host a Scholarship Day on Saturday, Feb. 12 to give prospective freshmen a chance to win one four-year, full-tuition scholarship and five, four-year $2,000 scholarships. The full-tuition scholarship is worth $17,900 per year.
