Waldorf College is accepting applications for an immediate opening for an International Student Recruiter/Coordinator for our new international student population. This dual position is part of the Admissions Office and the Office of Student Life teams and provides a great opportunity for candidates interested in broadening their experience in International Student Enrollment and Student Affairs. Ideal candidates would be student centered, energetic, able to adapt to multiple roles, have the ability to work with a variety of multi-cultural international students and the ability to work a flexible schedule that will include some evenings and weekends. This position reports both to the Director of Admissions and the Dean of Students. This is a 12 month, full-time, benefit eligible and salary in the upper 20's with possible live-on apartment. The International Recruiter/Student Coordinator is Responsible for the recruitment, admission process and oversight of the international student program. Position entails active recruiting efforts through international agencies including email, phone and mail, pre-admission correspondence/process and travel to regional community colleges to recruit international transfer students. Develop international student orientation, transition services and retention activities. Specific duties include, but not limited to, assist with arrival/departure arrangements and adjustment to campus living, arrange and assign local host families, coordinate special events and serve as advisor to the Global Culture Club. In addition, this position provides general information to international students related to class registration, policies, programs of study, social opportunities, and community resources. Responsible for SEVIS administration and serve as the DSO for all current F-1 international students.
Requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree and two years’ experience in a residential college setting working with admissions, international students and/or student affairs with preference given to candidates with a Masters' Degree. Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident.
