Evening Weekend Library Assistant PT

Waldorf College has an opening for an Evening/Weekend Library Assistant. This position is primarily responsible for providing library support, including circulation and technical services for Waldorf Students during the nights and weekend hours; performs a variety of other library related tasks as required. This is a part-time position, averaging 10-16hrs per week primarily during the academic year (approximately 525/yr).

Qualifications Required

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree
  • Ability to use computers and to utilize databases
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to conduct oneself with tact and courtesy
  • Must be able to communicate and work effectively with patrons


  • Experience working in a library setting
  • Familiarity with academic library research
  • Supervisory experience, will oversee student assistants during assigned shift
