Waldorf College is seeking qualified candidates for the Director of Institutional Research and Assessment. The Director of Institutional Research and Assessment reports to the Vice President of Academic Affairs and assists in developing and implementing faculty led academic assessment efforts, including the core curriculum, program reviews, outcome assessment plans, and course evaluations. The Director will also be instrumental in establishing measurable outcomes for our proposed MA program.
This is a full-time, 12 month, staff and benefit eligible position. Assist in developing and implementing campus and non-campus based academic surveys, provide data for planning and improving programs and assist in the preparations for all accreditation reports and visits. The director will also develop and maintain a systematic program of review for the individual academic programs the college to assure compliance with the HLC criteria for accreditation. The director will provide training for faculty in developing and executing assessment plans, serve on committees, and address assessment issues under the supervision of the Vice President for Academic Affairs. The director will analyze, interpret and make deductions based on the data collected to share with College administration.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in an academic or research setting, familiarity and experience working with NCA-HLC compliance and assessment requirements, ability to work well with faculty, administration and staff and to interact effectively with external constituencies. The director must exhibit a clear commitment to mission of the college. Preferably, will also have the ability to work with data stored in remote systems.
