Military Funding Options

We know your education is very important to you, and that’s why you chose Waldorf College. Your education is very important to us, and that’s why we are making it easier for you to continue your studies during the suspension of Military Tuition Assistance (TA). Waldorf College remains committed to providing educational opportunities to all branches of the Armed Forces.

We encourage all current students who wish to continue their education to seek out alternative funding sources available to them. Your Academic Advisor can assist you with questions about self-pay programs, Federal Student Aid, the Montgomery GI Bill or the Post 911 GI Bill, to help you determine your eligibility and make educational decisions that will work for you.

To help members of the military continue achieving their educational goals, Waldorf College has implemented the following programs:

Deferred Payment on Your Next Course

Existing Waldorf students whose TA benefits have been suspended and who will pursue an alternative funding option for their next enrollment (Federal Student Aid or GI Bill benefits) are eligible for the Deferred Payment Plan. This plan will allow you to enroll in your next course without worrying about the time required to transition from TA to other funding sources. You may elect to defer tuition payment of your next Term Enrollment up to the last day of the term. The following terms apply to all eligible students:

  • This offer is limited to current Waldorf College students whose TA benefits have been suspended and who have chosen to continue in their program of study.
  • Qualifying students must declare a future payment method through submission of a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) or application for GI Bill benefits (22-1990 or 22-1995).
  • The Deferred Payment Plan may be used once to transition from TA to Federal Student Aid or GI Bill benefits. Eligible start dates include:
    • Term 5A: start date April 17, 2013 and end date June 11, 2013
    • Term 5B: start date May 1, 2013 and end date June 25, 2013

Military Tuition Discount

If you are a military student who chooses the self-pay option, Waldorf College will meet you halfway. Students paying tuition out of pocket, who either do not qualify for or are not utilizing Federal Student Aid or GI Bill funds, may qualify for a 50% Waldorf College Military Tuition Discount. The following terms apply to all eligible students:

  • Prepayment of tuition or selection of an Automatic Credit Card Payment Plan. Tuition may be split over two monthly or four bi-weekly payments and automatically charged to a credit card. (Both payment options result in full course tuition payment by course end date.)
