Associate in Arts in Psychology

A.A. Degree - PsychologyWaldorf’s Associate in Arts degree in Liberal Arts combines core studies in the liberal arts with the opportunity for students to select specific areas of concentration. This provides a broad base of knowledge in several subject areas, along with the option to more deeply explore a specific area of interest.

Psychology Concentration
Psychology is the study of behavior and mental processes and is traditionally a popular field of study. Waldorf’s Psychology concentration provides the opportunity for students to explore this field as part of the associate degree program. Beyond the general psychology course, students can learn about social, abnormal or cognitive psychology. For the remaining credits, students may select from a wide variety of psychology courses.

Option to Continue Towards Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology
For students who may wish to pursue a bachelor’s degree in psychology in the future, the associate degree program is designed to prepare for entry into Waldorf’s bachelor’s degree programs with upper division standing.

Estimated time to complete the Associate in Arts program is two years with full-time enrollment.
