For students who wish to pursue a bachelor’s degree, the Emergency Management certificate is designed to coordinate with the B.A. in Emergency Management or the B.A. in Homeland Security at Waldorf College.

Emergency Management Certificate
Waldorf’s Emergency Management certificate provides foundational knowledge and initial exposure to the Emergency Management field. Learners explore a variety of areas within the discipline, including the four phases of emergency management, terrorism in emergency management, as well as interagency disaster management. This certificate is designed for students seeking entry-level exposure to the emergency management field, as well as for professionals in industries such as fire science, homeland security, and EMT administration who are seeking to bolster their emergency management background.

Estimated time to complete this certificate program is six to twelve months.

  • Completion of the certificate‚Äôs curriculum and credit requirements
  • Minimum grade of C in all concentration coursework
  • All certificate courses must be completed at Waldorf College
