Waldorf’s Associate in Arts degree in Liberal Arts combines core studies in the liberal arts with the opportunity for students to select specific areas of concentration. This provides a broad base of knowledge in several subject areas, along with the option to more deeply explore a specific area of interest.
Leadership Communication Concentration
Develop one of the most valuable skills for any professional: leadership communication. This skill is important for creating relationship networks, influencing and inspiring people, and collaborating effectively. Waldorf’s Leadership Communication concentration is designed for both current and aspiring leaders and offers built-in flexibility, so you can focus on aspects of leadership communication that best match your goals. Are your goals focused on leading and promoting your organization through social media, public relations, or strategies for communication during times of crisis? Are your goals focused on relationship aspects of leadership communication? Or, would you like to become a more skilled public speaker? You choose the combination of courses that fit your goals!
Option to Continue Towards a Bachelor’s Degree
For students who may wish to pursue a bachelor’s degree in the future, the associate degree program is designed to prepare for entry into Waldorf’s bachelor’s degree programs with upper division standing. This A.A. concentration also satisfies the requirements for the Leadership Communication concentration within Waldorf’s B.S. program in Organizational Leadership.
Estimated time to complete the Associate in Arts program is two years with full-time enrollment.
Associate Programs are not eligible for Federal Student Aid.
