Dr. Paul Eidson is a native South Carolinian but claims Florida as his adopted home state even though he no longer lives there. After graduating from high school, Paul entered the Air Force and enjoyed 24 exciting and rewarding years in the research and development branch that was then known as the Air Force Systems Command. This important part of his life fostered a desire to continue traveling throughout the world and experiencing the wealth of societies it has to offer.
Dr Eidson graduated from The Ohio State University with a BSBA and, yes, he is an avid Buckeye fan. Paul received his MBA from Western New England College in Springfield Massachusetts and holds two Ph.D.’s. His first Ph.D. is in International Business from the University of Orlando (now owned by Barry University) and his second Ph.D. is in Business (Organization and Management) from Capella University.
Dr. Eidson’s professional career has spanned the business and political world. As a Foreign Military Sales Program Manager, he represented the United States by providing approved military items to friendly governments. Once the State Department approved a sale to a foreign government, the Air Force assigned a program manager to the program based upon the item that was being purchased by the foreign government. Paul was required to travel extensively and become familiar with the cultures and customs of the foreign countries he interfaced with. This was one of the most difficult but rewarding positions Paul held during his business career and provided him with the opportunity to form a worldwide network of friendships that will last throughout his lifetime.
In Dr. Eidson’s second career, he was a member of the Boeing NASA Systems International Space Station (ISS) and Shuttle team. Here he was responsible for all subcontracts and program integration for these programs. Our team was responsible for the completion of the United States portion of the ISS and the operations and maintenance of the craft to ensure mission assurance and crew safety. His team was also responsible for Shuttle engineering/operations under the United Space Alliance contract.
In his third career, Dr. Eidson is now an educator and entrepreneur. His current career provides the opportunity to work in the field that he found to be his dream job. As an educator and entrepreneur, Paul is able to pass along knowledge and experiences that he accumulated over the past few decades. In this capacity, Paul teaches online courses for fun and has the honor to be the president and CEO of an up and coming professional education organization.
