The Fire Science Department at Waldorf incorporates the Waldorf mission and vision into classroom discussions, activities, projects and other assignments. This helps ensure the success of the student extends beyond the classroom where students “serve the communities where they live and work”.
The Fire Science Department also supports the mission and activities of:
- The United States Fire Administration
- The National Fire Academy
- The United States Department of Homeland Security
- The Federal Emergency Management Agency
- State Fire Training Agencies
- Fire/Rescue/EMS organizations throughout the world
The Fire Science Department provides fire and life safety information for the entire Waldorf Community (faculty, staff, students, future students)
